Hope for the Holidays
You can help share the joy of the holiday season by giving hope to other children and families in need.
Child & Family Services makes it possible for those with a generous spirit to make the holidays a little
brighter for the hundreds of families in our community. The agency’s annual Adopt-a-Family Program pairs
donors with families by giving a wish list and a brief narrative of the family’s background. Through the
overwhelming support of our donors last year, Child & Family Services provided gifts to more than 140 families.
Below are a few of the heartwarming messages we have received from families:
“Thank you for making this Christmas the best I’ve ever had. I will remember it my entire life.”
“Thank you for helping my family this holiday season. I appreciate your help and kindness.”
“You made our Christmas so special as well as possible. Thank you very much.”
Donors are asked to bring UNWRAPPED gifts for each family member to Child & Family Services during the week of Tuesday,
December 17, 2013 – Thursday, December 19, 2013.
If you are unable to provide for an entire family, gift items for teenagers and adults, or gift cards for Target,
Wal-Mart, gas stations and movie theatres are also welcome. We are also in need of volunteers to assist during the gift drop-off week.
