FedEx & Home Depot Deliver Holiday Cheer
On Saturday, December 10th, volunteers from the local FedEx branch made a very special holiday delivery to our residential treatment facilities. The merry helpers brought 10 fresh-cut pine trees, generously donated by Home Depot, to brighten the holiday season for the boys and girls who will wake up at the group homes on Christmas day.
The holiday spirit was in the air as more than a dozen FedEx employees including Dave Giglia, a former resident at our Conners Children’s Center, donated their time and talents to unload, set up and decorate the beautiful trees with the children who call Child & Family Services home. After a fun-filled morning of decorating, the volunteers joined the boys and girls for a special lunch.
We extend our sincere thanks to employees at FedEx and Home Depot for making holiday dreams come true for the children we serve!
