WBLK Makes Holiday Wishes Come True For Foster Children
WBLK’s annual Christmas for Kids Program made the holiday season bright for boys and girls served by Child & Family Services’ Foster Care Program. Throughout the season, WBLK on-air personalities announced first names and gift wish lists for 13 children in the Foster Care Program, ages 20 months to 13-years-old. Generous listeners donated items from the wish lists to give these children a holiday celebration they’ll never forget.
On Saturday, December 17th, WBLK employees and members of the community who donated to the Christmas for Kids Program joined the children at Child & Family Services’ 844 Delaware Avenue location for a holiday party. The kids were treated to activities, a pizza party, and a visit from Santa Claus!
We would like to thank WBLK and the generosity of all their listeners who supported the Christmas for Kids Program.
