Dr. Francisco Vasquez is named the new President & CEO of Child and Family Services
Child and Family Services’ Board of Directors has announced today that Francisco M. Vasquez, Ph.D. will be appointed the next President & CEO of Child and Family Services, Inc. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the social services field after working at People, Inc. for 19 years as a Director of Central Services and most recently as the Executive Vice President.
In regard to Dr. Vasquez, Child and Family Services Board Chair, Barbara A. Piazza, Esq. stated, "after entertaining a national search which produced a pool of highly qualified local and national candidates, the Board of Child and Family Services is pleased with its choice for President & CEO. Dr. Vasquez is a proven successful executive and community activist and his attributes as a visionary, strategic thinker, administrator and mission-driven leader make him the best choice for President & CEO of this wonderful agency."
Dr. Vasquez earned both his Bachelor’s of Science Degree and his Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in Arizona. He attained his Ph.D. in Social Foundations of Education from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

In addition to his work at People, Inc., Dr. Vasquez actively participates on the Kaleida Health Board, The Community Foundation of Greater Buffalo Board, The Buffalo News Diversity Advisory Board, Western New York Hispanics and Friends Civic Association and a variety of other community organizations.
Dr. Vasquez will start with Child and Family Services following the retirement of current President & CEO, Eugene Meeks. Mr. Meeks has been with agency for 29 years; he will retire in April.
