Stanley G. Falk School Takes First Place at "Art Alive" Competition

On Saturday, June 1, 2013, students from the Stanley G. FalkSchool reenacted Jackson Pollack’s painting “One and Lee Krasner” during the annual Albright Knox Art Alive Competition. The Falk School won the Judges Award for Best Tableau from the AlbrightKnox Art Gallery Collection.  More than adozen schools participated in the competition by acting, dancing or public speaking.

The Falk School art project was made possible by the facilitation of Art Teacher Matthew Conroy, Science Teacher Matthew Leboeuf, and Teacher’s Aide Matthew Lavigne.
