Buffalo Bills’ Bryan Scott to Receive 1st Annual “Person of the Year” Award

On Friday, September 27, Child & Family Services will host the 15th annual Heartlight fundraiser at The Adam’s Mark Hotel in downtown Buffalo.  Heartlight, Child & Family Services’ premiere event, raises funds and awareness to benefit the Agency’s more than 30 programs and services.

Child & Family Services is honored to present the first annual “Person of the Year” Award to Buffalo Bills’ Linebacker Bryan Scott at this year’s Heartlight event.  Scott will be recognized for his work with students at the Stanley G. Falk School through his ARTventure Program, part of his Pick Your Passion Foundation for the Arts.  Scott, a musician and arts enthusiast, inspired students at the Falk School to pursue their passions for the arts by partnering with Buffalo-area arts venues, including Shea’s Performing Arts Center, to host hands-on field trips for the students.

Child & Family Services is proud to announce William Loecher from West Herr Automotive Group will return as Chairperson of the 2013 Heartlight event. We thank Computer Task Group, headquartered in Buffalo, for their generous support of Heartlight as returning Lead Sponsor.  We also thank KeyBank and West Herr Automotive Group for their support as Level One Sponsors.

The 15th Annual Heartlight will feature hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and live and silent auctions, to raise funds for the more than 30 programs and services offered by Child & Family Services. Individual tickets are available for $145; patron tickets are available for $175.  Tickets can be purchased at heartlight.cfsbny.org,or by calling (716) 335-7233.
