Counseling

Anger Management Program

Anger Management is an eight to ten week program which provides counseling to young adults, ages 13 to 20 years old. This program works with the youth to develop the skills needed to control their anger and manage their emotions. Youth can be referred to the program by the courts, schools, family members and other human services and external agencies.

Through counseling, participants will work with a licensed therapist and deal with taking responsibility for their personal struggles with anger. Individuals will learn to identify their anger triggers and rehearse appropriate responses. The cost of the program is $65 per session. Medicaid and Child Health Plus insurances are accepted. Cost for individual and family therapy varies. This program receives funding from United Way.
