HR Consultation and Support Services

As a means of responding to the unique personnel challenges faced by small and medium size employers, which may not have their own Human Resources Department, our EAP can provide easy access to professional consultation services for HR-related issues.

Through a formal partnership we have established with Reliant HR, LLC, a Western New York consulting firm providing compliance-driven HR solutions, your organization has the option to supplement your EAP benefit to include HR Consultation and Support Services.

For an additional fee paid directly to Reliant HR, the following services could be made available to your organization:

  • An on-site audit of selected personnel structures and systems, with a comprehensive plan presented upon completion.
  • The ability to have access to an HR professional for assistance with a variety of personnel concerns, including:
    • Constructive Discipline
    • Terminations
    • Harassment
    • Regulatory Compliance

In addition to the above services, your organization would also have an opportunity to purchase separately the following specialized plans specifically designed to address common HR issues:

  • On-site training for managers and first line supervisors on a variety of topics including but not limited to:
    • Harassment Awareness and Diversity Training o Conflict Resolution
    • Fair Employment Practices
    • Effective Leadership Skills for the New Manager
    • Effective Interviewing
    • FMLA and ADA Compliance
  • FLSA Compliance. Changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act have resulted in some confusion for many businesses regarding exempt vs non-exempt status for their employees. Reliant HR would evaluate each position within your organization and provide a detailed report.
  • Development of a Management Policies and Procedures Guide in conjunction with a plan for communication and training.
