Education and Training

Haven House provides individualized training and technical assistance to audiences throughout Western, NY including: service providers, government agencies, community groups, educational settings, workplaces, and faith-based organizations.

Trainings are aimed at helping participants gain a deeper understanding of the dynamics of DV and how they can get involved in ending domestic violence.

Workshops are designed to suit the needs of the audience. Workshop topics include (but are not limited to):

  • Domestic Violence (DV 101)
  • Domestic Violence in the Workplace
  • The Impact of Domestic Violence on Children
  • Dating Violence
  • Advocacy
  • Safety Planning
